Default opinion on stacks vs no stack

I'm tossing around the idea of putting a single stack on my 99 reg cab. I'm thinking about a 6 inch black or black chrome mitre cut about in the middle of the passenger seat. Also thinking about leaving the stock exhaust with a muffler delete. What are your guys thoughts on this? All opinions will be considered. In the near future I'll be installing gauges and a 6 position chip if that helps. Thanks

A stack in a reg cab is pretty loud. And I'd put a 4 inch exhaust on it with out a muffler. If your set on a stack, I would still put a 4 inch exhaust going to the stack

Stack in my cousins reg can is obnoxious, even in a 4 door their awful drone.

Will the 4 inch make that much of a difference over the 3.5 stock exhaust? It's not that much of a jump up in size.

Yes. A 4in exhaust on our trucks with a stock turbo is the biggest exhaust that you can put on to see increases in power. It won't matter if you have a 6in stack or a garbage can stack. I have a 4in turbo back that dumps over the axle and I couldn't be happier.
