You may want to post this under the 99-03 tag as well. May be more 7.3 guys over there

I'll move this to the 7.3 section for you. Probably left a connection loose somewhere.

I changed the title of your thread, there is no swearing allowed in the open forums here. Thanks, and welcome to DB! :c:

I have a question also. Is the resvoir suppossed to drain after cranking? Because I saw somewhere that I'd have to refill it.:argh: (We're working on the same truck)

What electrical connections did you mess with while replacing your HPOP? Does the starter sound like its trying to turn the motor over and it can't? Or do you have nothing when you turn the key?

Define "Not turning over". Need to clearify if you mean wont start or physically not turning over.

When you pull the pump the reservoir drains and you need to refill it otherwise you'll be cranking forever to get a prime on the new pump. Fills by pulling that allen drive plug on the top. Wont fill completely full either (w/in a 1/2"ish). IMHO you should pull the reservoir and clean the debit screen thats part of the lower gasket now while its drained.
