Cruise control switch on 96
 

Hi I just bought a truck and the cruise does not work. The previous owner told me it just stopped working about 2 months ago. Took it to the ford house and the told me no recalls on it and told me it was the cruise control switch. I went and bought the switch from auto zone but have no idea where it's even located at. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks, colt

First things first. Check all brake lights!

change the sensor on the master cylender .when it dies it kills the cruse

If its a dodge, make sure u have vacuum. Also make sure the cable at pump bracket isn't broke. Mines broke there
