slow fill on fuel tanks

the front tank fills way slow and by slow I mean you are really lucky to get the nozzle to run at the first click and the back tank won't take fuel at all unless you want to hang around while it goes in at like a spoonful at a time .. i've seen this problem on flat beds but mine still has the factory bed on it though when i check underneath the truck it does seem like the filler hoses are running pretty level to the ground if not with a slight uphill slant .. is this a common problem with the 95 f350 or am I just special? any help would be greatly appreciated.

mine does the same thing but i can sometimes get it on the first notch if i dont put the nozzle all the way in. Iv noticed that i can do that on some pumps but others i have to stand there and hold it. I have heard of a mod that can be done to fix this problem but im not for sure.

ya all of ours does the same thing and it's the way the filler hose is bent. it has a pretty sharp angle right at the top. I've just not inserted the nozzle in all the way and held it to fill the tank.

ok, thanks for the info on this issue. I'm almost tempted to reroute my fill spots to inside the bed to get around this problem.

There are kits from transfer flow. If you look at the pics you can duplicate the set ups.

I called transfer flow on Friday.everything for our trucks is no longer in production.not even the fuel tanks.....i am hoping Aerotank can help me out for my needs.maybe if trans flow gets enough calls about our truck years, they may start production again.:argh:

Here is an OLD article from another site I frequented many moons ago:

I would check the Ball in the filler neck. Those sometimes loose there place near the top of the filler neck and don't function properly and that with make the nossle on the pump stop fueling, because they have a safety feature on them for no overfill.
