Blowing the #9 fuse
Can someone tell me what can be the cause of the #9 maxi fuse to keep blowing on my 1995 F350 Powerstroke ? It's not the fuel bowl heater as I removed it due to the # 22 fuse blowing.
Thanks John |
#9 is the pcm

According to the manual the # 9 fuse is for the power control system. What I forgot to mention is that I've been having problems with the torque converter not unlocking and the truck stalling when I come to a stop. The truck does not blow any fuses at idle but as soon as I put it in gear the fuse blows. Can this be related to the torque converter issue? and if so how do I determine it? Can I unplug the converter and test drive it?
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- Problem solved: the wiring harness for the transmission was touching the front drive shaft. I locked in my hubs for awhile and as the shaft turned it wore thru the wires and shorted out. I had to slice 5 wires and tape the rest. working good now. |
