crossover tube ....SMOKING
 

hi im new to DB i have a 97 f350 that needs a couple glow plugs i just havnt had the time or money to do it im 16 and need help figureing out why its smoking so bad in the morining i got under the truck and had my buddy start it and noticed the crossover tube (correct me if im wrong) puff out a bunch of smoke do i need a new one? thanks

what do you mean by crossover tube. I guess I'm just a little confused on where your looking at

I'm thinking your looking at your up pipes comming off the exhaust manifold

Fix the glowplugs and it won't smoke...

the exhaust pipe that comes out the drivers side manifold is what im talking about

alright thanks that must be why i couldnt find anything online and where to buy them i didnt know the real name

Glow plugs are cheap. And if you know what you are doing it is a very simple and quick job if you don't run into complications!

isnt there just some gaskets that leak on the up pipes?
