is there a way to make this work with the mechanical pump temporarily? or i guess why do you need the electric fuel pump for the kit to work, i mean obviously the inline filter is a must but why the pump?

I went the other way and kept the fuel filter (with the regulated return) and replaced the fuel pump with a lift pump on the frame and a super-duty type pump under the hood.

WTF?

You dont need a lift pump on a powerstroke... One fuel pump does it all, unless your running more fuel then a single pump can supply.

Well I wasn't sure where that threshold was. I also wasn't sure if I'd need it since I'm still filtering the fuel through the stock fuel filter at low (lift pump) pressure instead of sucking it through. was I wrong?

Can you use the stock pump with the delete kit though, instead of switching to an electric pump system?

for the delete kid, do you need the regulated return or can you just use the bowl delete t valve and call it good?
