having some problems

got in my 97 powerstoke this evening and got going down the road and it started shifting hard and not running the gears out as it should. the speedometer and odo wasnt working either and the overdrive OFF light was blinking. Need some help.

My guess would be VSS is acting up...

Vehicle Speen Sensor. it's on top of the rear diff.
