Stage 1 injectors

I'm looking at getting stage 1 injectors and Ive been lead to Rosewood, so I looked there and would it be worth saving the money and just trying to rebuild my injectors with no new barrel and plunger or nozzle, or should I just spend the extra money for the new parts? :humm:

IMHO... New parts... Or your going to be back in there again before too long.

I went with all new parts in my injectors... Just for peace of mind. No need to cheap out on fuel injectors... If they fail, you're stuck on the road with no back up...

thats what i was thinking but i just wanted to make sure thank you!...also would it be benefitial to get stage 1.5 wrather than just stage 1, the only difference is 30%larger nozzle in the 1.5 :humm:

the 1.5s are just going to empty faster due to the larger nozzle

powerstroker13 03-05-2012 05:32 PM

giving more power and what about mileage?

All depends on your right foot

If you are trying to get 400 hp IMHO i would just skip the satge 1s and go with either 2s or stage 3 hybrids

powerstroker13 03-05-2012 07:29 PM

its looking like im going to go with the stage 2s and just have them detuned a bit until i can get a new HPOP and turbo

My stage 1's did not change the fuel economy at all when driving like I own the truck. When driving like i stole it, you will see it at the pump...
