Mine is at 275 and change..i am wondering the same thing.mine is turning into my daily driver and tow rig.

I dont know man? I would think if the motor is still in good shape and has been taken care of i think it could handle it?

Run a compression test... I wouldn't go building to the max..

the compression is good in all cylinders i was gonna do stage 2s would that be to much for that motor?

i would just go ahead and start modifying mine has 230 but if yours has that many u can do anything u want still jus as long as u keep up on maintance with it

First off i have a cummins but the principal is the same! :) You can usually get a good idea of the condition of the motor by the blow by out of the breather bottle, if it seems excessive then it could
Probably do do with a freshen up.
Mine had 252k on when I started modding, it's got 256k now and I can see a noticeable increase in blow by
