I have a 94.5 turbo and wanting to get the edge cts programmer for it how much more horsepower at the rear wheels am i going to get with that programmer on it

well stock you're around 180. sad but true. with that, you'll be around 250. get a TS style chip. you'll be better off.

How will it be better and will it work on my 94 cuz ive only seen to order it with 95-97 and not a 94

If it is a Powerstroke, then you can throw a TS chip on it... Either way you will only gain 60ish hp on your stock truck...

When I had an edge evolution intake and exhaust I did 215/339. Your best bet would be a TS 6 pos if you want more hp

the problem i have though is that 94 wasnt a powerstroke they called it a turbo diesel and 95 went to powerstroke so i was wondering if it still would work since its basicly the same motor jus different name

Not completely correct... They offered 3 motors that year.. An IDI n/a, an idi with factory turbo and a powerstroke. If you have the direct injection powerstroke, you can chip it... It will have turbo diesel tags and not powerstroke badges but that doesn't matter. Its the motor that matters.

A custom tuned 6 position chip is going to give you the best bang for your buck, after that, you will need larger injectors such as a stage 1 to get more fuel and power.

I had a ts 6 position switch on my 1997 f250 7.3 it shut the truck down. It blew a relay out an the cam sensor. Took the chip out an the truck runs great. The shop i took it said I got lucky it did not kill the brain
