I have a buddy with a 97 cali truck and it should have AA split shot 120cc injectors? are these able to flow more power than the 49 state truck with the AB 90cc injectors? i would think so. i was told a 49 state truck can put out about 75 horse max with chip on 140hp. could the split shot 120cc injectors push more hp out of a chip? like 100 or so?

Read that link so you have a better understanding of the injector codes...

AO and AA's are single shot 90cc/1000 shots...

AB's are 120cc/1000

AD's are 140cc/1000

And so on.

So if my buddy has a 97 cali truck with the AB injectors with a ts chip, with intake, and 3 inch down pipe to 4 inch exhaust, what kinda hp/torque are we looking at? 300 rwhp?

280-or so...

FYI from what we have seen AB injectors actually flow between 135 cc and 140 cc, and AD go between 140 cc and 150 cc.
It really depends on how they are set up.
There seems to be a rather large variation between sets.
