fuel bowl removal

i need to remove my fuel bowl because i had to take off the fittin for my boost gauge and the dang thing fell off and fell underneath the fuel bowl. is there any easy way to get my fittin out?

see if you can bend a coat hanger and try to fish it out. if not there are 3 rubber lines with a hose clamp, remove those. the very bottom hose pull the line off the pump end. there are 2 lines at the front of the bowl, you can leave those on. then there is a bolt on each side of the bowl holding it to the block. i think they're a 10 mil.

:tu:

my reccomendation: replace the 3 rubber lines to the rear of the bowl if you end up removing it. wont have to worry about cracking and splitting later :s:

and yes they are 10mm's

why not just buy a new fitting? pretty sure that's what i would do. the fuel bowl can be a pain in the ass to remove and replace.

just cut the 3 rubber lines to get it out, the new ones will be MUCH more flexible to get back in :tu: they're not bad at all
