leaking oil

What would cause my truck to leak oil when i have it plugged in? It also sounds like the oil is boiling. It never leaks oil until this time of year and I have to use my glow plugs or plug it in. :argh:

Kind of an odd question... You're saying it only leaks when you plug in the truck's block heater?

Yes and since I'm using the glowplugs more, it leaks a little oil after I run it.

Don't use ether on a vehicle with glow plugs... Bad chit happens...

The day yer in a hurry tryin to do a no-no (using ether), yer heads may end up coming off yer engine without using wrenches. Alot of stuff can go wrong. I had a 96 that ended up with a rebuilt turbo, new intake, glow plugs, and other odds n ends due to friends using ether on it while I was deployed.

Here's a vid that shows a little that can happen
