8 inch lift
i just bought an f350 crew cab LB 97 just swapped over from dodge,(no regrets) i am wanting to put 37s on it and wondering if 6 inch lift would make the 37s look good or if i should make it an8? can i see some pictures of your lifted crew cabs so i can decide what looks the best to me? and what i should do with steering to make it drive like it does stock (no bump steer, and same steering throw both way) do i just need drop pitman arm thanks

if you get a lift, 6 or 8" lift it should come with the dropped pit man arm. but with a lift and bigger tires it probably won't drive the same as stock. i don't have any pictures of it but my buddy had 37's on a 6" lift and it lookd good.

I'm sure Lucas won't mind me posting a picture of his truck. He is a member on the site so he may post up... His truck has a 6" lift with 37" tires...

thats a good looking truck, so i can run stock steering just with drop pitman arm, i dont have to do hi steer for a pretty nice drive? im looking at the kit on skyjacker its 1500 bucks for everthing no blocks

you should be ok with just the dropped pit man arm. and you will probably fight the bolts on the rear springs. the bolts like to seize up inside the metal insert in the rubber bushing.

Thanks, ya thats the kit i got off rocky mountain susp. You'll need extended brake lines, and if you want to run the sway bars get longer sway bar links not drop bracket thats for the frame mounted sway bars. My 37's only rub full crank steering on the leaf springs due to the offset of the wheels but clears bumper and fender no problem.

how are those springs in the rear for towing would i need air bags or over loads? a little sag is fine i haul fire wood and a very heavy toyota

Wish I could tell ya I've only had the lift for less than a month and haven't had to haul anything lately.
