Neutral Safety Switch Location

I'm looking to by pass the neutral safety switch on my 96 F350. I can't find it. I was told to look between the clutch pedal and the floorboard but it's not there. On the tranny the only wires I see seem to go to the backup lights.

Anyone know where the switch is located? To bypass it, once I find it, can I cut the wires and twist them together?

Thanks for reading, and any possible help.

it should be under the dash on the clutch pedal. itlooks like the brake switch.

I just went out again and looked and didn't see it. There is nothing electrical even remotely near the clutch pedal or linkage. I have the new part here, so I can see what to look for.
Guess I better invest in a Manual..... and better glasses.

It is on the pushrod for the master cylinder, between the clutch linkage and the floorboard. I would post a picture, but I am not home right now.

i have a switch with wires running to the terminals that are wired with the starter its located right behind the passenger side battery. rig up that on off switch or even push button and have the key in the run position before flippin or pushin that switch

Wow, 2 1/2 years since I started this thread.... I like the picture, it helped me find what I was looking for, well not find really. My truck had the switch removed and wires taped up. After replaceing the Clutch Master Cylinder and Slave Cylinder last week, I added the Safety Switch too.
