sterling 10.25 problem

I have a 97 f250 7.3l psd with a sterling 10.25 12 bolt rearend that keeps locking up. The dial pin retaining bolt keeps breaking and letting that pin slide out. The first time the bolt sheared and put a hole in the cover and killed the pinion bearing so I fixed then the same thin happend but the bolt ground the pinion up so I replaced the carrier all the spider gears , ring gear and pinion and all the bearings. Then the other night the pin slide out and I was only going around 8 mph and it locked up. I installed everything right and gave it the break in period. I have a superchip micro tuner but I don't think it would push enough torque to keep breakin that bolt when its not suppose to have pressure on it.

Im not sure. I know that if its to tight you'll crack it and it'll break and if its too loose. But this is the third time this has happend
