More Power?

I have a 96 psd and was wondering if there was any cheap way to gain a little extra power? right now i have a dp tuner, straight pipe, intake, and waiting on my turbo to come back with a bd compressor wheel. any help is good.

Without higher capacity injectors, you're out of luck.

In my '96 I had stacks and intake, no chip or tuner, with a 5 speed. I put in Stage I injectors and that truck came to life. PHP is right, injectors will do the trick, especially with what you've already done.

what about just replacing the nozzles? does that help?

yes replacing the nozzles will help as long as your injectors are good which i'm assuming they are

[[ChRiS]] 12-20-2010 09:33 AM

where can i get a good set of nozzles?

post on this site requesting a quote. the vendors will p.m. u with prices. that's the easiest way

Don't waste your time with larger nozzles on a stock AA injector.

The issue with AA injectors is not the nozzle size....it is the limited fuel capacity. If you put larger nozzles on your stock 90cc injectors, you will have wasted a ton of time and money because the injectors will empty almost instantly and you will be left with no "push" on top of the piston after TDC.

If a vendor will actually sell you larger nozzles for a stock AA injector, that person needs to check their conscience.

If you can go without your truck for alittle while, send your injectors off to rosewood diesel and have them built to flow more. It's cheaper than buying reman injectors
