yeah I had a feeling, might spend half to a full day doing a really good flush that way it'll never have to be done again. Kinda leaning towards ELC I just wasn't sure if we can use it on the older stuff. I talked to a chevron REP who said that you can, but that was a chevron rep :humm:, so I imagine if he was selling old socks he'd tell me I can wear them too. then again though I asked the question and I'm pretty sure he was being honest. the only downside to it though he did admit was that the older coolants with some silicate content when you flush your rig, then add ELC it may be slightly more prone to showing you a coolant leak off your hoses since silicates kinda had a plugging or layering effect on any seams. in short though the answer to that is if you do find a leak off one of your hoses then tighten or replace it. But I still wanted to hear ford owners opinions from you guys to see if anyone had used it and had positive results with it. Honestly I believed the chevron rep because chevron makes good products.
