axle swap
 

im lookin to swap out my 4.10 gears under my 97 and maybe lose the 2 piece front end. the first question i have is what is the highest i should go? i pull often but not usually super heavy loads and im lookin for better economy for daily driving. my second question is how hard is it to put super duty axles under an obs? if i could 3.73s with a solid front axle easy enough id like to.

what is your fab skills? U can build brackets for it. IIRC the sd axle is about 4" longer and is metric. IMO swap front and rear and have disk all around. One day if i have time thats what i want to do.

Look into Sky Manufacturing they make a shackel reversal kit. And search the threads here lots of good info.:rocking:
