96 powerstroke rough running
 

247k on the odometer. completly stock. it seems to run a little rough but not horrible. i replaced the fuel filter due to it being clogged and nasty. cleaned thefilter housing and replaced the lift pump. i can push the accel. pedal all the way to the floor and it will only get up to 15mph in roughly 100 feet or so. it doesnt sound like the turbo is really spooling up, it almost acts like it has an exhaust restriction. its not smoking black, blue, or white. what could it be? im going to drop the exhaust off from the cat back tommorrow to see if that helps. any suggestions are appretiated.

Make sure the Exhaust Back Pressure Valve isn't shut.

Don't forget to check and clean that FPR screen that is bolted onto the side of the filter housing. I pulled mine off and it was horrible! It was coated in black sludge and took about 10 mins. to clean off. I put it back in, started the truck, let it idle, and got on it.. No problems anymore. It's worth checking, it's alot eaiser than the exhaust. 2 10mm bolts..
