It's not hard to change the injector o-rings. Removing the injectors is alittle bit of a different story. I might be sure that it is discolored before I'd tear into it.:humm:

i work for international and do injectors all the time they are pretty easy to do , if you do them make sure to unplug the cam position sensor, and crank on the engine till you get oil press on your dash gauge then, plug in your cam sensor and start your truck that way u wont score the injectors

I have to ask...

Why?

The injectors will not fire until there is 400psi of High Pressure Oil Pressure, and the High pressure oil pump will not build that pressure until after the res is full which is where the oil pressure sender is... Unpluging the cam sensor does nothing to stop any wear that might or might not happen on the injectors P and B...

Because by the time u build oil press u should have fuel press also that way the injector does not try to actuate with no fuel to lube it ! It is just an easy way to prime the oil and fuel system so u don't hurt anything i fix peoples mistakes all the time . They come in saying i just put all new injectors in and they have problems bc of this , and the injectors are scored and now they have to buy a whole new set of injectors !!!!!!!
