97 7.3 won't start
My 97 7.3 will crank, but won't start. Two brand new batteries. New fuel pump. New glow plugs and wiring harness under valve covers. Truck has been parked for a few months, but was running just fine before I parked it. While cranking, fuel pump fills fuel filter bowl up. Engine "WAIT TO START" light doesn't come on now. Tach doesn't move while cranking. No signs of firing off at all. Any ideas?

Yes, it turned out to be the fuel heater itself. It was somehow shorted (I think because of all the sediment at the bottom of the bowl), there for burning the #22 30amp fuse everytime I tried to start it. Pulled the heater, cleaned the bowl thoroughly, put the filter back in, filled the bowl back to the top, and started the engine. No problems since, except longer crank times since the fuel is now cold. Ordered new heater from Amazon, when it comes in, i will install it and see if that changes the crank times.
