Killed it now wont start.
I was delivering a couch to my daughters house and didn't give it enough accelerator while climbing the curb and killed the engine. When I went to restart there was no wait to start light.
Found the maxi fuse blown, replaced the fuse and it started for about 30 seconds and blew it out again. Replaced the glow plug relay and all the glow plugs. Now the wait to start light and the voltage showing the glow plugs are getting juice is only about 1 second long and even crossing the poles on the relay I cant get it to start. Fuel is getting to the injectors. Where did I go wrong? |
Forgot to say this is a 94 F350 turbo diesel

What would be the best way to bypass the glowplug relay to a switch rather than use the glowplug that isn't working correctly?

does anyone make a good book on the engines? I have checked with advanced auto and they only have for ford trucks w/o diesel engines.
