1995 converting to 1999

How hard is it to convert a 1995 powerstroke to put a 99 sd motor in to? Im buying a 1995 with with a 99 sd motor and everything is hooked up it that truck and is daily driven, that truck is auto and mine is a 5 speed. The trans is out of that one and he wants to dump it cheap. My motor broke a connecting rod last week and i would rather spend the money on putting this motor in since it is going to cost me the same as new rods and a rebuild. Will i be able to keep my idm, and all that? And i have 205/100 injectors i am taking out of mine and putting in the 99 motor, will i need a custom tune?

Take all the wiring harnesses from the 95, put them on the 99, install all the other parts you want. Then put it in the 95 and your done. Yes the injectors need tuned.

So take all the wiring out of the parts 95 I'm buying and put them in my truck?

Do you have the 95 and putting the 99 engine in it or are you putting a 95 engine in a 99?

My truck is a 95 with a 5 speed that just broke a connecting rod. I just bought another 95 that has a 99 motor in it already running and driving with a bad trans which is auto. Truck is pretty shot rust wise but im buying a motor and getting a truck with it. I want to take the 99 motor out of the parts truck and put it in to my good rust free 95 backed with a zf5.
