95 7.3 mileage improvement

I have a 95 7.3 powerstroke in a crewcab dually , auto, 4:10 gear , 2wd. What are the best fuel mileage mods I can make ? Truck is stock with 72000 miles.

Correct tire air pressure 4 inch exhaust bhaf change gears to 3.73 or 3.55s other than that and a chip aint gonna get much better should see around 15mpg hwy right now

It will take years to pay for a gear swap. I didn't see any improvement with an intake or exhaust but they are good upgrades to do and required if you do a chip. And I no shit picked up about 2mph with mine, I don't exaggerate my mpg

Years???!? Cost me 300$ to do myself front amd rear parts from rockauto and only takes couple hrs per axle dnt take a genius to work on axles

Most people don't know how to set valve lash. I wouldn't do a gear swap sticky for mileage. The math doesn't add up very well in my book.

Neither would i (i like my 4:10s) but i was just layin it out there as a option....a tedious one
