stage 2?
i have a couple injectors going and i was just thinking about going bigger since my truck is very slow would stage 2 160/80-100% still be reliable and able to tow?
i have an intercooler already and an exhaust and intake, what other mods would i need to support these injectors? |
stage 2s like e-fuel and a good 17* or aftermarket HPOP but the best thing is custom tunes, most tuners can detune the bigger injectors to work any way you want with the mods you have.
Is there a company that make a full conversion kit for e-fuel that is good? Like air dog and how do I get ahold of tony wildman?
Beans makes a good kit, i have an Irate Diesel set up on my truck or you can put together a kit yourself and save some money, probably what i would do if i had to do it again.
Tony Wildman is at Totaldieselperformance.com |
How would I build my own? With all these mods what kind of power am I looking at?
i have most of the irate kit and it works really well and jake is awesome to work with. as for the injectors why not go with some hybrids? you can have them detuned for towing and have more power when you want it.
I dot understand what the difference between hybrids and normal ones are
A little machining, and the hybrid plunger and barrel assy is swapped into an A code body...basically you get 40% more fuel, for the same volume of oil, over a standard A code injector. ---(golfer)
That is a copy from a post. Basically a bigger b code plunger in the a code body. Equals big power and low oil. It is easier on a stock hpop and nets good power gains. |
Plunger and barrel from a B code injector get swapped in an A code injector. You can get them in any size you want. They use less oil pressure so you can make more power on a smaller hpop.
so would i make more power then stage 2? im looking for around 400whp where would be the best place to get the most reliable hybrids?
