no the back end I can understand is whatever.

but what was needed to fit those up front? any trimming or removal of splash guards?

Twebb833 02-12-2013 11:28 PM

I had thin aluminum guards that didn't hit but I took them off for added safety and I trimmed the bumper, at the most 2 inches. Technically their 315's but the measure out dang near 35's. Here is another pic to see how tight it is, I'm going to level it out before too long.

yeesh, those are tight. dunno if I'd chance that.

my current ones measure out to a hair over 32" I think (285/75/16) but they are right worn and I'm in the market for another set.

if 'Kooks weren't 500 bucks a tire, I'd run a set of dynapro A/Ts. I hit some jackpine sand out in the bush grabbing firewood and the loose stuff you get in new construction sites where I work, but I don't need an M/T, really.
the dynapros come in some seriously limited sizes though. I think I can get em in a 265/75/16, but not my current size.

if not those, a set of Geolandar AT-S' would be fine by me. I've run em before in a 1 ton 6.0L company truck, they are nice tires.

well done on fittin those things man!

Hankook ATM s come in 285/75/16. They are like an atm10 or something like that

These are Mikey Thompson ATZ Pro with the tread at 1/2 an inch depth and the rims came with them in perfect condition for 800 bucks.

Haha (I check Craigslist.com religiously)

Slim Whitey 02-14-2013 12:33 AM

as do I.

living in a province twice the size of texas, with a total of 1 million people, where everyone and their dog must have a truck, where everything "truck" is overpriced (not uncommon for a decent shape auto 1gen cummins to go for 8+grand with 350,000 miles. hell, the poor shape ones go for nearly that some days), and where everyone just runs their tires right off...
that means that checking kijiji (more commonly used here than CL) is usually fruitless.
