NEW RIG!!!!!!!!!!

Hey ya'll! I am new to DB but not new to diesels. I however have not done a ton to the 7.3's. I don't have any axle tags on my truck and was wondering if ya'll could figure out my gearing. 2000 rpm at 65 mph with auto overdrive on my new to me 97 F250 Powerstroke. Also I will be doing a 3" downpipe going to 4" and the 6637 air filter setup. Will the TS 6 pos chip net me any better mileage? Thanks for letting me join the DB family too!!!

P.S. To stack or not to stack....should I?????

4.10s. The obs either can with 4.10s or 3.55s

What size tires are you running?
TS-chip can get you better mileage. Depends on how much you keep your foot out of the skinny pedal. I'd recommend custom tunes from Tony Wildman, Gearhead, PHP or any of the other reputable tuners over canned ones from TS. Performance will be better and they are generally easier on your transmission.
Not a fan of stacks myself. They can look good when done right, but have become the diesel equivalent of fart-cans on ricers.

As of right now I have junk 285/75,16's. Putting new ball joints and u's in the front end hopefully tomorrow. After that I will be looking into tires. I would like to go a little taller but not as wide. I found out that she has 4:10's and would like to bring the rpm's down a bit on the big road. Something around a 34x9.50. Down the road she will get a solid D60 up front but I am in the middle of searching for homes so money is a wee bit tight.

go 235/85r 16, they are taller and skinnier. thats what my 97 had factory

I sell tires at work and have been in contact many times with our supplier. The 235's are shorter than the 285's by a bit. The 255/85R16's are prob what I may go with, just need to save up a bit for em.

that 255/ 85- 16 is kindda a oddball size isn't it? i had them on mine when i bought it but put 265/ 75- 16. when they wear out i want to go back to the 255.
