Rear fuel pump?

You have one fuel pump, that is it. Its in the valley of the motor.
|
Yes the rear fuel, not the hpop the one that brings the fuel from the tank.

It is a two stage mechanical pump between the fuel filter housing and the turbo. It "brings the fuel from the tank" (pre stage 1) through stage 1, then gets filtered at low pressure. Then it returns to the fuel pump where the pressure is increased through stage 2, then it goes through the banjo bolt on the back of the pump, through the wishbone fuel lines to the back of the heads. The excess fuel comes out the front of the heads, through the flexible fuel lines to the regulator mounted on the fuel filter housing. This regulator restricts stage two pressure to somewhere around 50-60 psi. The excess fuel then returns to the tank. ...Unless, of course, You or a previous owner has already converted to electric. |

One fuel pump. In the valley. The HPOP is NOT a fuel pump, its a High Pressure Oil Pump. |
Then why does only my front tank work and not my rear? Wich has been full for about 3 weeks now
|
More then likely its the switching valve... Or the switch itself.
There are no pumps in your tank. One fuel pump, in the valley. |
So i should check the valve fist? And how would i go about that?
