I'm just glad they're still trying to tune these trucks, I don't know what the penalty for tampering with that sort of emissions equipment is going to be, but at the same time it's cool that they're still doing it

I do agree Jared I just think it's cool that there's possibly going to be public tunes for these trucks now

i'm interested to see how long the motor lasts and what problems it will have, not saying it will but EVERY truck has its flaws, so far our 6.7 is doing good, went from utah to north dakota with a gooseneck and a CCSB 6.4 on it and did good

yeah the 6.7 is already having EGR issues from what i've been told and had 2 friends experience it

i haven't heard much about that part, but i'm sure i will find out sooner or later ha

i think they're better designed than previous systems, but I don't know for sure, I do know their powerband feels like that of a gasser to me, to a point, very powerful trucks right from the factory though and seem to get great fuel mileage, just don't like the whole exhaust smelling like pee/methanol

yeah, i'm curious to see the actual fuel mileage i get when its not loaded down and such

World's first? Hardly. I saw two tuned 6.7s at Truck Fest back in August.

Depending on what you called "tuned" I posted vids a WHILE back of the KEM truck with DPF delete, Urea/EGR block offs... I guess this may be the first "performance tuned" truck?

TS MP-8's are also available and already installed on some trucks too btw, though it's not a tuner, it's still a power improvement.

First or not, doesn't matter, it's still cool.

These H&S tuners will be standard off the shelf tunes, but KEM is teaming up with H&S to be their custom tuner. So you can get the standard canned stuff from H&S, then have KEM do some custom work for you.:c:

yeah i just put this video up to do nothing other than show that it is being done, i like it because these trucks are awesome I don't want drama if that's what someone wants to start go somewhere else

I used to have a Ford then i bought a Dodge and i would take a 6.4 any day over one of the new 6.7s.

and why is that?

These 6.7s seem alot louder than the 6.4s, are they? or is it just the vids?

the turbo seems louder to me? other than that i think the 6.7 is quieter

they are louder than shit out the back. the secondary turbocharger on the 6.4 really tames them down. take a single turbo 6.4 and 6.7 side by side, get ready for a head ache!

I love the sound of the 6.4s with single turbos. I might have to think about that project for the future with my 6.4. I don't really like the sound of the new 6.7 piped but they do sound a lot louder up against the 6.4 piped.

Rode in a tuned 6.7L Powerstroke yesterday and holy chit that thing hauls ass!!!!

I see some KID (can't even be 21 yet) riding around my hometown in an extended cab short bed 6.7, lifted on bigger tires already and he likes to blow smoke every time he sees me (my stacks bring the worst out in diesel drivers), so I know he's running tunes. I'm jealous, not going to lie. I am NOT from a "rich community" so to speak. Makes me wonder how people can afford these things! Then to go and just void your warranty... I'm really jealous.

Yeah I could believe how hard that thing pulls doing boosted 4 wheel launchs, and how smooth it shifts, and you can hardly hear a dang thing in the cab!

I'm not jealous of those kids........I laugh at them. I'm proud of what I have because I know I went out and busted my ass in all weather elements 6 days a week and earned my money honestly and I can stand up and say I worked hard for my truck and its mine, dad didn't buy it for me, cause I'm not lazy. I don't have time for lazy people in my lifestyle.
