DTC CODES P0474 P1247 P02EC
It started with the INTERCOOLER BOOT blowing, I replaced the the INTERCOOLER BOOT with a FACTORY FORD one, but now I have these DTC codes,P0474, P1247, & P02EC. Every time I start the truck. the dash tells me {Drive to clean exhaust filter} I'm thinking of replacing the EGT sensor, one at a time, there's 4 of them. What else can it be ??
I'm going to try to remove EGT sensor #3 cause i see the sensor wiring is chaffing. If that doesn't cure the problem, then I'll replace EGT sensor #4
I had the local shop change all four EGT sensors & they charged $120, no more {Drive to clean exhaust filter}message or the green wrench flashing on my dash
Thought the problems were solved, but my truck threw 2 more codes a
P200C CAT P200E DPF Got both codes clear & now I'm going with deletes:yeah: P200E |
After putting the 4 EGT sensors, i thought my troubles were over, but the truck left me stranded again on the side of the road, while pouring rain:dang:
I'll give the truck an hour & see if it starts:humm:
After waiting a freaking hour, and having my intestinal pain from holding back a turd the truck started after an hour & i was able too reach the toilet in time, "OH what a relief " :scare2:
Truck started & 5 second later it turn off:dang: wife had to drop me off at work will be hooking the tuner to the truck & driving it with the dpf, till the dpf& cat deletes arrive
Today i hooked my H&S XRT PRO & did the deletes, waiting for the dpf delete pipe to arrive, so far i unplugged the the egr & disconnected the rear of the dpf, still need to disconnect the front of the dpf & all the sensors.
The two bolts in the front of the dpf must be welded on or I've lost my "MOJO":scare2:
