What have you learned about your 6.7L this week???

I learned my truck should have come with a rear sway bar! It's "loose in the caboose" and I'm going to add one asap.

learned there is a problem with the A/C compressors, one on an ambulance blew a hole in the compressor, mine was a hairline crack on the inside (next to the engine) small enough to loose freon, but not big enough to loose oil...Took the dealership 3 tries and nearly 3 weeks to find it. But two failures in a small town dealership? How many nationwide?

I've learned that my advance trac & hill decent control fault came on about the same time as my coolant additive check....lame. Love the truck! Its a rocket ship and tows like a dream!

I learned that I have an oil leak on the drivers side rear part of the engine, it is dripping right on the universal joint of the front drivshaft, I am thinking that the valve cover needs tightened, anyone else seen or herd of this problem? 2012 F350 Lariat DRW

New to this site, hi y'all! My rear power sliding window would open but wouldn't close. After some online research on other sites I found this is quite common, and it's a problem with the overhead switch. One owner advised to get behind the right side back seat, unplug the electrical connection, and use wires to jump and reverse the polarity (simultaneously pushing the overhead button) to get it to close. I did this and worked like a charm. I'm still under the 3yr/36K mi B-to-B so the dealer replaced the switch, no charge. Electrical switches and anything power sliding/moving is not a new problem with Fords in my experience. Have had '93 Bronco, 99' F-250 diesel 7.3 DRW, '02 F-250 gas, and now this '12 F-250 diesel 6.7 SRW. Loved them all, and no powertrain issues with any of them (knock on wood for my current one).

I've learned that owning one can be very expensive and very frustrating to say the least.
