Get a bag from Wal-Mart and wrap it around your filter.

taker back, buy a car, trucks are for hauling and working, not for kids to drive around like ***holes smoking people out, people who actually use there truck, shouldn't be getting harassed by the epa while trying to do there job cause you wanted to look cool :argh::scare2:

agreed, i am new to this and dont want to draw attention, my whole purpose in the delete and new exhaust was to save my investment (the truck), not the smoke...my first smoke caught me by shock and was hoping it was something that would subside as the residuals clear out from the delete, but im learning more and more with each forum read - just gonna have to caress the throttle like a lady (i did black out a tailgator, but that was the roadrage meanstreak in me)....but staying off the radar is a good thing

peripheralthinker 09-15-2014 11:21 PM

to answer your question, it is not the purpose it is a result......when you do a cat/dpf del and put in race pipe it'll happen 'if you build it they will come'.
but could i advise you to not do it in populace or city, go country driving and play with the smoke out effect....keep yourself off the radar and keep the target off your back

Why buy a 2011 with all the emission equipment and then want it to roll coal? Deleting the emission equipment is illegal in all states, and you will NEVER be able to legally sell or trade in the truck with altered emission equipment. The Bully Dog should give you better fuel mileage IF you keep your foot out of the turbo. More power, just don't overdo it. But if you bought it to blow smoke, you spent money for nothing, It is programed to work WITH you emission equipment, not against it. I have over 100,000 miles on my 2012 F450, exhaust is as clean as the day I bought it.

Hey Jay be careful Deleting your exhaust system and driving on the road. It is a $2500 fine and $25000 for the shop doing the mod unless they have you sign a waver.
Most dealers won't take a deleted exhaust truck for trade.
If you do delete AFE makes a complete turbo back exhaust, and EFI live or what gunman has the H&S for deleting the sensor program in the ECM.
I don't really care if people blow smoke this is a free country and %^&* the EPA. If I am towing a load and smoking so be it.
