2008 F250 SD Need Recommendations for Replacing Calipers & Brakes (Sticking Issues)

After reading numerous posts about stuck calipers due to corroded pins, I would please like to know what replacement parts to purchase. What's worked for people, what hasn't, etc.

There has also been a lot of recommendations to replace the brake lines/fluid, which I would also like to do since I am already going to be doing brake pads and calipers.

I had my front passenger side seize up and ruin everything. I did the only thing I could do with a long-distance trip the same day...I took it to Midas. I had to replace the rotor, caliper and brake pad. The brake line didn't come in, so they tested everything after a long drive and concluded it was functioning properly. I had the driver's side caliper and brake pad replaced as well. Total cost...nearly $1k. Ouch.

The trip went perfect, however, a week after returning home, rear driver's side locked up.

That is when I started looking around on the internet for some info.

Yes...the truck had been parked twice for long periods of time in the past two years. Yes...the fuel mileage has inexplicably gone down drastically since the first time it was parked so I'm guessing the problem started at that time.

This time I would like to skip Midas now that I have some answers and save some $$$.

By the way...I have 132k miles and have had ZERO problems with the brakes until now. But that's probably because I drove the heck out of it before the first time it was parked. Actually, compared to other vehicles I have owned...I have been very happy with the brakes!

Thank you all for your time and recommendations!

Take care! -Renee
