Older front end?
 

Alright, so the Mrs. has given me the go ahead to build a drag truck and I know a 6.4L will put a hurtin' down at the strip (I can't afford a 6.7 so please don't mention it). I know how much complication it would be to drop one into a 6.0 platform, so the question is this. How hard would it be to retrofit an '05-7 frontend onto an '08? Sorry y'all but I absolutely despise the newer grill/headlight setup. Would it be more cost effective to just transplant the engine given the almost $15k difference in truck price? I have a line on an '02 for $6500

No matter what, the interior will be completely stripped, all non-essential equipment will be gone.
