2009 6.4 f250 dpf?
 

Ok guys a very good friend of mine has a 09 6.4 and he is tired of getting 12mpg!!! He said he could care less about his warranty anymore he wants some better mpg's... I am not very familiar with the 6.4 but I know alot about the 6.0 and 5.9 cummins, and he has no mechanical skills! Told me he don't care what it cost as long as it works out in the long run... What should I be looking to do? Tuner? Dpf? Cai? Turbo? He has a landscape company so he's always pulling his skid steer or mini excavator...

DPF delete and a tuner.

I'm sure some of the sponsors here sell kits. Definitely go with custom tuning though. Matt @ Gearhead, Eric @ Innovative, Mike @ KEM. One of those guys. The sponsors should be able to get you a tuner with custom tunes set up too.

Mileage will increase GREATLY. I believe both Gearhead and Innovative use the SCT devices, KEM uses the H&S stuff. There's also Spartan as well with the dashdaq.

What is all involved in the dpf delete? He gets a new truck every couple years, so I don't think he needs the egr delete... I've been seeing alot of the h&s mini max so I'm guessing that's a good one.
