Default Give her a new lease on life PART 2

I want to thank you all very much for your input and support.

This morning I went back in and replaced the IPR Valve.
So after a couple cycles of cranking, the Dragons breath erupted! Kept her idled up to 3k for 3 min. dropped her back down to idle a couple min. Then shut her down. waited a couple minutes and tried again. She fired right up!

Having NEVER worked on a diesel before, I was a little intimidated at first. But confident in my reading skills (LOL). And quite a few of my friends said it would be too hard for someone who never did one before and that I needed to take her to a shop or to ford. I did get a quote to just get her running again from a reputable local shop. 8k plus parts!

Here's the total of what I did: (she had 215K miles prior starting the work)
New OEM head gaskets, heads redone and magfluxed, ARP Studs, new injectors, all new orings in oil rail, new sct fitting seals everywhere (yes you can replace them instead of paying ford $100+ per fitting item), new HPOP, Disassembled and cleaned the VGT, new intake gaskets, ICP sensor, IRP valve, blue spring upgrade, AFE intake, MBRP 4" exhaust with cat delete, Sinister EGR Delete. And H&S Mini-max tuner (which I am going to sell and get SCT tuner as you all advise. SOB's wouldn't let me return the H&S cause I opened the box!
Total cost for everything approx. $5500.00
Value of knowing you got more for your dollar and the you did it right YOURSELF...............
PRICELESS!!!!!

oh and to my friends that said it would be to hard......

Awesome. You might want to talk to Mike @ KEM about writing custom tunes for your H&S, as I believe he can do that for the 6.0. Especially since you've already purchased it. His tuning is great.
