Transmission
Ok so i just got to the campground and was gonna park on a hill and put it in park and truck was starting to roll down the hill so i hit the brakes and moved off the hill. I didnt use my ebrake cuz my release is broke. By the way i have a 2005 f250 with 150000 miles.
How has it worked since then? The parking pawl isn't a very high tech piece inside of a transmission. If it works normally now, I would research how the parking pawl works AFTER fixing your e-brake release.
Like Bob said, are you sure it wasn't sliding or being pulled by a trailer?
