Cummins swap

Hey I have a friend with a ford f-250 with a 5.4 triton v8 he bought a 98 12v motor to do the swap. What I need help with is does anybody on here know where a good diesel shop could do the swap around north Florida and any thoughts of about how much the labor would cost thanks for any help

Cheaper to have bought a 6.0 than swap in a Cumgingms.

To have a shop do it... Over 10k easily. What Trans would you use? What power mods to the Cummins?

I think he wants to keep the automatic trans that's in it now I'm not sure if it's the same one that goes behind the powerstoke or not. Power wise in the 400-430 range

What year truck does he have? I'm not sure what trans is in there, or if it will even hold up to that power level. You'd need the adapter plate for that motor/trans, you'll definitely have to have the trans built, and I'm not sure that trans will hold that power anyways, and you'll need a PCS stand alone controller. You're pushing $7500 right there before you even have the motor in the truck... and that doesn't include building the 12V up to anything over stock. That will cost more.
