I know exactly what you're talking about painting the strip between the windows. All the Dodge guys do it. It looks good on their trucks, it doesn't look great on ours. Leave it like it is, IMO~! Definitely get pics up as you go!

 

well typical... after having to preform an exorcism on my truck trying to remove those fog lights and covering my hands/arms in fiberglass i find out ddm gave me the wrong lights... now my dilemma is should i remove the other one and wait till mon when they are open or install the one i just removed and use my stock ones till mon... mind you im a lazy bas*ard and use my fog lights when ever i drive haha

 

K boys everything is in however I think the dumb girl at the front who asked me " do you want blue or super blue" gave me 4500k instead of 5000k like I asked because the fog lights are like green/white/ yellow and my head lights are silver/faint blue. I took a few pics of the tint ill post some of the head lights when the sun goes down. Also one of the pics look like I have shaved door handles ill post that one as well haha

well my fog lights flickered then both shut off... the amber lights still turn on and to make matters worse i cant find my book to figure out what fuse might have popped any one know the fuse number for the fogs?

ok well i guess this is a common problem after looking on google... apparently the solution is a relay harness luckly i have an extra one from a kit i bought a while back ago where i ended up not using the harness but i still believe the fuse is blown does any one know the number for that fuse?

i just tried plugging the original bulb in and thats not working either. however it looks like none of the fuses are blown but thats by just going over it with a led flashlight not pulling any because i still cant find out what fuse it is

k found it fuse #43 was blown thank god i have a whole thing of 10a fueses ill install the wiring harness tomorrow so i can take some pics

 

Don't forget when buying the HID bulbs, a 5000k 35w bulb will look nothing like a 5000k 55w bulb. What wattage headlight bulbs did you get and what wattage fogs did you get?

I ran the 5000k 35w in my truck, went with that cause I thought they'd be whitish, but they were pretty blue. Too ricy.

I've heard about this relay setup too, never needed it on my truck!?

 

its a 35w kit with ddm from what i understand their 55w kit is a bulb recommended for 35 watts but their ballasts are 55w which is why their 55w kits suck im 99.9% positive i have a 35w ballast because they dont will call 55w kits any more. i had the 55w kit on my jaguar i used to own and it took almost a month to get to me and all the packaging tape and stuff had Chinese writing on it hahaha. any way i went looking for the extra wiring harness and come to find out i have 2 of them hahaha my lazy *** must of not installed one on my mother in laws 4runner even though she paid for it hahaha i was gonna install it today but i have to take my wife to get a tattoo at 4pm so ill be doing it for sure tomorrow and ill post pics right after
