Well without actually monitoring it on a scanner of some sort, you're just shooting in the dark. If you don't have access to one, yes, pull the IPR and see what it looks like.

Seems like no compression doesn't really help, you should actually test the compression!

I think I'd try to start it with WD40 to see what it does, DO NOT USE EITHER, that is very dangerous.

#2 is kinda thick for that, Iv'e sprayed WD40 through the MAP hose to start someones truck at the supermarket, they had the hot no start problem and were stranded, they thought it was a joke being pulled on them because I asked what was wrong and after hearing the problem they were having I gave them alist of stuff to have fixed then I pulled out the WD40 and got them started, yuppies with a diesel

Allright, time to pull the vlve covers to make sure the injectors are still there, also make sure the glowplugs are still there. For 1k you did good no matter what so if you have to pull the heads its no big deal compared to the value of the truck.

Default Outcome?

Hi I found this old post and my 2004 6.0 is doing this same thing. We drove to a furniture store bought some stuff and as we got ready to leave my truck would not start and acts like there is no plugs in the cylinders. Rolls over very fast just like this truck described here. I checked the stuff this post said to do and everything checked out fine. I dont have a way of checking the hpop. Any suggestions?

What happened to this $1000 truck that had this problem?

Thanks,

Jerod
