That's cool, looks like a way to retrieve my wrench the next time I do this. Everything is so crammed in there, I never noticed this.

My mechanic showed me this trick saves time . I guess that is why he loves replacing alternators. Pays 3.5 Hours he can do it in about 15 mins. Crazy

I have never once been able to move the tensioner far enough to get that clip in. I of course am fighting with two belts and two tensioners all in the way as well. I've tried getting it far enough by pulling up on the belt, and I've actually got the belt to slip before getting it that far.:argh:
