Intake housing clamp failure on turbo

I have a stock f350 with a bullydog triple dog powerpup programmer running the performance tune and the other day on the freeway I was cruising around 90-100mph and the clamp that held the hose going from the radiator to the turbo just popped off. I was wondering if anybody else has had this issue. If so how can I make sure this doesn't happen again.

Yes it happens. When you took the IC boot off to clean it, you will notice a lot of oil on the inside. This oil is caused by the Crankcase Ventalation (CCV). Search "CCV mod" if you want to prevent oil from entering the IC system.

It prevent from blowing off the IC boot, remove the boot and clean it and the connection to the turbo and piping with a degreaser. Then right before you re-install the boot, use hair spray to help keep the boot from slipping off. Sometimes the clamps get over torqued and your required to buy new clamps. If the IC boot is really worn/weak, your better off getting a new one.

I'm assuming you mean the CAC (cold air charge) tube going from the intercooler (not the radiator) to the outlet of the turbo right? Which end popped off? The end at the turbo? Just follow what lilpooh said. Should be ok, but these have been known to pop off before.
