Gauge Installation Help!!!

Ok i have a question. I bought a set of gauges AND before everyone bust my balls about the brand i got Glowshift. I Just need an answer on wether or not this can be done.

Sense the gauge is electronic would i be able to hook my Glowshift Coolant Temp and Oil Temp gauge up to the factory EOT and ECT sensor (splicing into the factory pigtail)

If i can not do this can someone give me an alternative to this. WITHOUT having to buy a coolant filter system.

Any pics i can find somewhere thanks in advance

Alternative as far as what? Places to mount these things? I wouldn't tap into those, I highly doubt the sensors are even close to the same.

dieselmanor.com has some good write ups on gauge installs. You can also find whatever adapters you may need to mount in different locations. There are quite a few ways to do this. If you were worried about where to tap, you could have just got an EDGE CTS or CS or some other pod that just reads through the OBD port and would display for you what your factory stuff is already reading.

Years ago I hooked up an Auto Meter oil psi to the electric Ford sending unit on my 1967 Mustang, it went batty! I would say that the sam eresults will happen if you hook your GlowShift to the Ford stuff. Not because it's GS, but because of the different mfrs.
