My local OReilly's has Motorcraft SP for about $4.50, of course I found this out AFTER I got raped for $7.50 at the dealership.

went to ford they told me that the sp was going to cost 18.50 i managed to find lv after much hassle which was half the price. I drove the truck for a about two hours before I shut her off and drained the oil I ended up replacing 10l of oil when all was said and done. I replaced the filter in the pan and the filter that was under the radiator becides the passenger wheel well

Torqueshifts hold something like 17.5 quarts of fluid, FYI. Of course there is some in the torque converter you can't get out either... I cant remember if the 5R has a drain built in or not. It needs to get to 170* or 180* (slips my mind at the moment) for the thermostat to open and the converter to pump fluid up towards the filter, otherwise it all just recirculates inside the trans. So you changed less than 1/2 of the fluid.

Check this out, this is a way to sort of change all the fluid.... Transmission Filter change questions - Page 2 - TheDieselGarage.com

The TorqShift I just took out and the one I put in did NOT have drain plugs in the converters. 17.5 qts is what the dealer mech told me, also.
