Default Intercooler

I was just tinkering around with my truck today and noticed alot of oil in my intercooler pipe on the drivers side going into the intake manifold... I know some oil is ok, but just how much is ok? I'm wondering if it has anything to do with running like a 2 stroke rich... ?

Nope! But it has everything to do with the PCV venting into the intake system. You can redirect it somewhere else, I've read about guys putting it over the rear u-joint.

what do you guys think about a ccv mod? is it worth it? i did some research on it and there is no cons, as long as you run to the rear of the truck...

if i was to do the ccv mod, what would be best? make my own.. or buy a kit?

I've also heard of cons with this as well however. They slip my mind at the moment, but I'll try and read more into it now.

I'm actually spraying oil out of my intercooler connection down on the drivers side now... Definitely a boost leak of some sort there and oil is being SPRAYED up to the underside of the hood... time for the metal CAC tube from Ford for me. Forced upgrades are awesome.

The only cons I could find is if you don't vent it right it smell... That why you have to run to the rear axle... But I read that you can get a kit that hooks into your exhaust too...

The exhaust one you have to be real careful with, it has to be angled just right, or you could end up pushing positive compression back in. Could get ugly.
