SCT livewire Mounting???
I just bought a SCT livewire!! It may be the best programmer but its ugly and BULKY. Anyone have any good ideas (PICTURES) of a good mount or how to make one???
I have the window mount but it makes a HUGE blind spot and the wires look AWFUL running across the dash!! I know I dont have to have it once the truck is flashed but I wanted to be able to monitor my EGT's and keep it on!! Any ideas?? PLEASE HELP |
Im trying to figure out that same issue. I forget who has done it but there is a forum member that has a pic of it mounted at the bottom of the dash in the center.
Thats where im thinking of putting it and running the wire so its hidden under the dash. Just found it here take a look.... https://www.dieselbombers.com/6-0l-b...-livewire.html |
I wish the wires plugged into the back. I think it looks bad with them plugging into bottom but everyone says its the best tuner. So...

I'm pretty sure they make a-pillar pods for those too guys, it would hide all the wiring.http://www.pmtdiesel.com/zoom_img/91...1176904627.JPG

---AutoMerged DoublePost--- Never mind PMT has them....but for $155 im not too sure...:humm: And im not sure what the difference is but it only fits the old versions. |
The pillar mount is 155. After spending over 500 on tuner you would think it would mount easily and look good. There is no good way to hide the wires , they plug into bottom and they are very stiff.
