Still lots off smoke... HELP!!!
Ok.. so a few weeks ago my 04 f350 started blowing white smoke...and lots of it.. i thought it was egr so i deleted it. was not it. i then checked the FICM and it was low.. so i got one from the local parts yard and now its now 48v.. still blowing white smoke. its not coolant.. its fuel and a lot of it.. i have racked my brain so much it hurts. what could it be and how can i test what you think it is? please help and thanks for your time!!

get a scanner and check codes, also do an "injector buzz test" and a "cylinder contribution test". it quite possibly could be an injector issue
|
Done them all.. no codes and the cylinder contribution test was flat.

Could very well still be the FICM.
If you plug the truck in does it still do this? It could be glow plugs or the glow plug control module. |
well i started the truck the new FICM came out of.. no smoke.. as for pluging it in i have not tried it.. on my way out the door now to plug it in
