its a wix. I'm pretty sue it wasnt charged, but I'll check it. need another one now anyway

 

That might be your problem right there... At least look into it. I know it wouldn't be the first time I've heard of this, but it's possible.

If it is the oil cooler, plan on replacing all of the radiator hoses and the radiator itself will need a good flush.
